Dieses jodlerartige Lied hat Viktor Zack (1854-1913) am 25. Juli 1914 auf dem "Mühlsteinboden ob Karchau bei St. Lambrecht von Viktor Weißofner, Josef Edlinger und Friedl Moisi" dreistimmig aufgezeichnet (Volkslieder und Jodler aus dem obersteirischen Mur-gebiet. Wien-Leipzig 1927. Nr. 37). Bei dieser "Schallaufnahme" des Trios Sontheim-Burda-Staber ist über das Schallplattenetikett die Angabe "kostenfrei" gestempelt, d.h.: Die Aufnahme beinhaltete gemeinfreie Volksmusik und war bei einer Sendung nicht über eine Verwertungsgesellschaft abzurechnen.
